Iron Wheel Guest Ranch features friendly hospitality. With fishing and trail rides in a beautiful rural setting with easy access. In spring come enjoy watching nature wake up with wildflowers and wildlife babies as they begin to appear. In summer many guests choose to stay awhile and float some of the Blue Ribbon Rivers located near here. Many packages are available to float and fish or take scenic tours; private pond fishing is an option. Trail rides are popular and relaxing, or you may opt to just enjoy a quiet mountain evening playing horseshoes or sitting around the fire pit.
We offer BBQs and picnics for groups as well as hosting retreats, reunions and seminars. There is a lot of room for children to play, exercise and enjoy the Montana outdoors. Lewis and Clark Caverns are located nearby in the Lewis and Clark State Park. Fall brings beautiful colors and excellent fishing in the area. There are cross country ski trails located 3 miles from the lodge.
Our horseback trail rides are from 2-8 hours long, or ride to a mountain lake. All rides are guided and our stock is safe for all levels of experience. The 7 hour Continental Divide ride is a wonderful day.
Our Youth Camp for 10- to 15-year-olds is a week long outdoor adventure.
